A black and white picture of my wife and eldest walking through one of the main parks in Lisbon, Portugal. My eldest was having issues walking and didn’t want to walk any further, not that the walk we’d been for was incredibly long. She was probably about 4 or 5 at the time and was making her feelings known!
Not far from the heart from the centre of the vibrant city of Lisbon, Portugal, we found ourselves walking through one of its charming, green parks. The black and white photograph we took that day captured a precious memory of my wife and our eldest child as they walked together.
Our little one, only 4 or 5 years old at the time, was having with some walking difficulties. She was growing tired, and didn’t want to carry on despite our unhurried pace. Her strong-willed personality shone through as she made her feelings known, asserting her independence in her own unique way.
