A black and white picture of my wife and eldest walking through one of the main parks in Lisbon, Portugal. My eldest was having issues walking and didn’t want to walk any further, not that the walk we’d been for was incredibly long. She was probably about 4 or 5 at the time and was making her feelings known!
Not far from the heart from the centre of the vibrant city of Lisbon, Portugal, we found ourselves walking through one of its charming, green parks. The black and white photograph we took that day captured a precious memory of my wife and our eldest child as they walked together.
Our little one, only 4 or 5 years old at the time, was having with some walking difficulties. She was growing tired, and didn’t want to carry on despite our unhurried pace. Her strong-willed personality shone through as she made her feelings known, asserting her independence in her own unique way.
This tender snapshot not only captures our child’s determination, but also highlights the unwavering support and love between family members. The enchanting backdrop of Lisbon’s park provided the perfect setting.
To this day, we look back on this photograph with fondness, cherishing the memory of our family’s love and resilience in the face of life’s little obstacles. This image will forever remind us of the special moments we shared together, exploring the captivating landscapes of Portugal’s capital city.
